A Farmers Auto policy offers you a wide variety of coverage options
Bodily Injury and Property Damage
Injuries to other people and damage to their property is covered if you are liable for an accident. This coverage applies whether the car was driven by you, a qualified family member or another driver using your car with your permission. In most cases, borrowed or rented cars are also covered.
Personal Injury
You're covered for medical expenses arising from an auto accident for you and qualified family members - regardless of who's at fault.
This coverage also pays a predetermined portion of your lost income; a specific amount for essential services the injured person would normally perform without pay and medical expenses for other people injured in your car.
Uninsured Motorist
Farmers will cover you if you're in an accident caused by an uninsured motorist or hit-and-run driver by paying up to the limit you select for bodily injuries to you, qualified family members and any other person occupying your insured car. Similar coverage applies to a motorist whose insurance is not adequate to pay for injuries, up to the limit you select, less the amount paid by the other party, if that driver is liable. This coverage will also pay for out-of-state losses in excess of your Personal Protection insurance.
Comprehensive
This coverage fills in the gaps for non-collision damages that may happen to your care except collision or upset. It includes damage from such causes as fire, vandalism, windstorms, sandstorms, falling objects, animals, water or flood.
If your car is stolen, Farmers Comprehensive pays up to $15 a day, with a $450 limit, for transportation expenses. coverage begins 48 hours after you notify us and the police.
Collision
You're insured for accidental damage to your car caused by collision with any object or by upset. Collision pays up to the actual cash value of your vehicle, less the deductible you select.
